Announcements for the Upcoming 2025-2026 Season

-Call for coaches: AJT is always seeking additional coach volunteers.  If you have wrestling and/or coaching experience, please use the contact page or email ajtwrestling@gmail.com 

Upcoming Events and Dates:

-Wednesday, Oct 15th, Registration opens

-Wednesday, Oct 22nd Zoom Information Meeting, 7pm

-Thursday, Oct 23rd, In-person Info meeting, Bocock Wrestling Cage, 7:15pm

-Sunday, Nov 9th - On-time registration closes

-Regular practice schedule begins on Tuesday, Nov 11th 

-Thanksgiving Break - no practice on November 27th

-Saturday, Dec 6th - Late registration closes

-Sunday, Dec 7th - First NVWF Tournament: West Potomac HS

-Sunday, Dec 14th - NVWF Meet: King George HS

-Sunday, Dec 21st - NVWF Meet: Forest Park HS

-Dec 22nd - Jan 2nd - Winter Break - no practices 

-Tuesday, Jan 6th - First practice after winter break

-Sunday, Jan 11th - NVWF Meet: Hayfield Secondary School

-Sunday, Jan 18th - NVWF Meet: Robinson Secondary School

-Sunday, Jan 25th NVWF Meet: Location TBD

-Sunday, Feb 1st, NVWF Meet: King George HS

-Sunday, Feb 8th, NVWF Meet: West Potomac HS

-Sunday, Feb 15th, Final NVWF Tournament: Hayfield Secondary School

-Sunday, Feb 22nd, Wrestling End-of-Season Banquet, Los Tios, 2-4pm

AJT follows the Alexandria City Public Schools inclement weather policies.

If ACPS is closed or has an early closure, AJT will not practice.​

For Meets, AJT follows the host jurisdiction for cancellations and closures
